Update: The results below were achieved through a targeted, short-term engagement focused on a one-time site redesign and blog optimization project completed in Q2 2022. This effort drove strong, consistent organic growth, sustaining high performance for over two years until mid-2024, when changes outside of our involvement impacted the site.
Between March 2023 to June 2024, the site garnered over 40k clicks in Google Search Console, averaging 2,500 clicks per month—much of this from high-intent local searches. For a single-location salon in a college town, this level of organic traffic underscores the impact of our short-lived, high-impact intervention.

The Request
BloGo, an established high-end hair salon in Alabama, was expanding to add a cosmetic skin wellness center. They approached Collaborada about a website redesign to reflect the business expansion.
The Work
The BloGo website had poor site architecture and user experience. Collaborada selected a new Squarespace template and redesigned the site’s content and navigation for clearer, better user experience. Older content was analyzed for SEO opportunities and either improved or removed. We trained the Blogo admin team on website best practices.
The Results
Increased Traffic. Google Analytics showed a 205% or 3x YOY increase in site users from Q1 2022 (6030 users) compared to Q1 2023 (18440 users).
The same YOY comparison showed page views increased 275%. Pages per session increased 24%. Bounce rate decreased 28%.
